Gardening is fun and rewarding, but after a few hours it can lead to back pain and strain on your knees. Learn how to bend down, get on the ground and back up off the floor again without hurting yourself!

More than Stretching for Gardeners, in this next segment featured on KGW’s Portland Today I share a few gardening tips that apply to any and everyone. In the video I will show you how to bend down, get on the ground and back up again safely. These are movements we do each and every day – and now you can learn how to do them even better!

As we age, back care and spinal mobility is essential for holistic wellness. It is important to be mindful of the alignment of our bodies in these basic movements which can either help or harm us. Learn how to do them correctly so you can sustain healthy movement and mobility for years to come.
