This has been one of the best and transformative experiences I’ve ever had. Being sedentary due to injury and arthritis, Moriah has helped me to move again in a new way. Her gentle tone and helpful suggestions will put you at ease as she guides you through the exercises. Working with her I have regained strength, mobility and confidence. Highly recommend!!!

It is such a delight working with Moriah! She has been and still is working with me on my health goals. I came in not knowing anything about yoga and she has been a great instructor and I've been learning so much from her. I highly recommend her!

I found Moriah after doing a lot of research on the internet. I had practiced yoga years ago but had not been able to find anything that would be better suited for a "senior" who has pain issues. After reading all of the reviews I decided that I would try her. I like that this is all one on one. Moriah is fantastic! She always knows exactly what yoga and breathing poses to do after finding out how I am doing. She has given me tools both in class and at home to help relieve a lot of my pain. She is very knowledgeable, caring and professional. I highly recommend Yoga Mojo!

Moriah is fantastic! I'm a professional athlete who has had chronic pelvic tension and hip pain. I've done years of yoga in the past and knew that some one on one support could help me address the issue quicker than a basic class. However, I didn't expect to have relief so quickly!! After just 3 private sessions, I had an unbelievable release in my sacrum, and for the first time was able to lay in corpse pose pain free.I appreciate that Moriah gave me a sequence, specific to my needs, that I can do at home. I will continue to visit Yoga Mojo and use their services as a part of my active recovery plan.So good!

I started with Yoga Mojo (Moriah) in 2019 during a very stressful time. I saw her ad in the paper and what attracted me was individual yoga work for any "body" and the word, restorative. I've been impressed with her instruction and care from day one--even by Zoom this last year. When I began I had a stiffening shoulder from my dialysis access sight in my upper arm and within two months of working with Moriah my shoulder had its range of motion back. I've come away from our sessions refreshed and renewed every time. Her professional, knowledgeable, empathic and intuitive care continues to amaze me. She always seems to know the exact routine/yoga moves I need after discussing how I'm doing--always! And beyond expectations is her broad knowledge of information, equipment, and resources that add to and support her instruction. Recently I had an acute onset of low back pain/spasms and thought twice about keeping my yoga session. I went ahead and Moriah took me through a set of moves and stretches which stopped my spasms. I am able to stand comfortably and work in the garden again:)! She recorded the session for my ongoing practice. I can't say enough about her wonderful, wholistic practice--thank you, Moriah!

Patient. Knowledgeable. Great communicator. Extremely reliable and goes the extra mile!I wanted to get back to my yoga practice after stepping away for a few years due to a persistent injury. I searched months before finding Moriah. What a gift she has been for me, even more so since the pandemic has moved our practice online. We work one-on-one, three days a week. She is attentive to my frequent aches and pains and designs a session suited to my needs that day. I have learned how to achieve my yoga poses because Moriah knows how to describe them in a way that makes sense. An adjustment here, a modification there! So much easier when working with someone who understands anatomy and can explain those necessary changes. My goal had been to work my way back to yoga classes. Now, I don't think I'll ever give up my sessions with Moriah!

I absolutely adore Moriah and her practice! I had always wanted to get into yoga, but didn’t really know where to begin my journey. I found Moriah on a Google search and liked the aspect of one-on-one coaching, rather than attending a class that I would feel vulnerable in. Moriah is very kind and understanding of everyone’s body and differences, and made me feel welcome from day one. Since seeing her, I’ve improved on many fundamental poses and now even feel that I have the confidence to attend a yoga class in the area! If you are wondering whether or not to try out Moriah’s services and Yoga, my answer would be a resounding yes!

I was looking for a yoga class where I would feel comfortable while recovering from a knee issue and losing weight. Very fortunately for me, I found Moriah at Yoga Mojo. The one on one aspect of the class is amazing. Moriah is a caring, dedicated, wonderful person. She is very in tune with what will help you through any challenge. I’ve come in with headaches, stiff joints, aches and pains and even just feeling blue-nothing daunts her in finding a way to put things right. She always gives extra examples of things that will help when I’m at home. I would recommend Moriah to anyone who needs a one on one experience with yoga; it will change your life!

After retiring I had joined a gym and watched some yoga classes but felt too intimidated to actually join in. After reviewing Yoga Mojo on Facebook numerous times I decided to give them a call and I am so happy I did. After 40 plus years of working primarily at a desk my posture was not good and I suffered low back problems. Moriah has given me the tools and techniques that has helped me so much. She listened to my needs and always encouraged me to let her know what was bothering me and where I might feel pain. I highly recommend Moriah as she is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and a great listener. She has exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you so much Moriah!

Moriah is amazing! I started my first session with breathing correctly and focusing on posture and gait. Moriah led me through some amazing stretches and poses in our next session that alleviated tight muscles and helped with flexibility. One of our sessions, I had a bad headache and Moriah led me through visualization and meditation. It was the best thing I have done in the way of self care in ages. Moriah is kind, listens, and provides a safe environment. She's the best!

I have had several sessions with Moriah and been fortunate to find her practice. There were so many things that I was doing on a daily basis to exacerbate my lower back pain. She showed me techniques for proper posture in a regular chair and we moved on from there. I have been learning so much from her and feel much more confident in my yoga poses. She is a very patient and kind therapist who has helped me in my journey to find strength after injury and health issues. Thank you Moriah!

I am 81 years old and a career of hunching over a computer led to poor posture and sciatic nerve damage. My right leg and lower back were giving me much pain and inhibiting normal movement. I had tried Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Epidural Steroid Injection. I wanted to try Yoga but not in a class--I wanted personalized Yoga. I found Yoga Mojo and after only a few weekly sessions, my leg and back were much improved. After a few weeks more I am now without any pain. All credit goes to Moriah and her individualized approach and patient instruction. She is a professional, talented, knowledgeable, and personable instructor. She has exceeded my expectations in every way.. On the classic 1-10 scale, I rate her at least 12 and strongly recommend her to anyone. I very much look forward to our weekly sessions and further improving my flexibility and balance.

I came to Yoga Mojo and Movement Therapy to address back pain brought on by sitting for too long in cramped airplane seats. Moriah quickly and professionally recognized that the problems stemmed as much from the shoulders and legs as from the back. Using her knowledge of biomechanics as well as her extensive yoga training, Moriah devised a series of exercises that relieved the pain. More importantly, Moriah taught me to recognize the signals my body was giving so that I could adjust my posture at the first sign of discomfort, thereby avoiding the stiffness and pain that I previously experienced during long trips. I continue to attend sessions with Moriah, and each time I learn something new. Whether I arrive exhausted, stiff or sore, I always leave feeling refreshed. I highly recommend Yoga Mojo and Movement Therapy to all.

I had a very insightful first appointment. Through awareness of my current posture and gait, I am now able to correct myself and relieve chronic pain in my lower back and feet. I am excited for our next session, Restorative Yoga!

Moriah is an amazing yoga therapist. She taught me things about my gait that I'd never noticed -- and in the process helped me change it and get rid of some nerve pain! She also helped me improve some of my yoga postures and took me through an amazing restorative yoga practice that left me more relaxed than a massage. I highly recommend her!

I never thought that I could do yoga. I didn't think that I was strong enough, flexible enough, nor had the balance for it. But with Moriah working with me I am on my way to being a more fit, more mindful person. She takes me from where I am and pushes me to go a little further each time we work out. The tools that she gives me to improve on translate into tools that I can use in everyday life. I look forward to each workout session knowing that Moriah will have thought about the next steps for me. I am SO glad I found her. The very best hour I spend each week!

My wife and I have been working with Moriah for 6 months. We LOVE her approach. Both of us have struggled with back and/or neck pain to varying degrees. Moriah is fantastic at figuring out where you are and what you need. We have been able to incorporate methods and tools (mats, blankets, balls, bands) into our home life so that we can continue her work at home. Slowly over time we are more relaxed, better at breathing, less painful, more active, and exhibiting better posture. We will continue Restorative Yoga with Moriah because it really makes a difference in our overall health and wellness.

I would like to preface that my situation is unique and complicated. I did not feel I would do well or benefit from a group situation. I had been searching for a personal yoga instructor for a while. It was by accident that I stumbled across Moriah’s business card and discovered she offered one-on-one yoga instruction. I outlined the details of my situation, and she indicated that my issues were in the realm of possibility to address. I found Moriah to be a professional, knowledgeable, understanding, caring, and compassionate person. She has helped me develop tools to manage my ongoing issues and improve my quality of life. I am delighted I discovered her and would recommend her to anyone.

My yoga class with Moriah is my favorite part of the week! I appreciate her intuitive nature as to what type of yoga I need that day. It could be invigorating or relaxing, depending upon my needs. I am also very concerned with injury, so I appreciate her skilled knowledge of the human body. I also like her nice pretty room! I would recommend Yoga Mojo to everyone!
